Projects we support

  • Project: SuN

The SuN is the follow-up project to the Accommodation for Clarification of Claims ( UzA ), which accommodated several hundred homeless people until the end of August. Like the UzA , the SuN also operates according to the principles of Housing First.

  • Project: Learning by doing

The accompanying program creates meeting places for people with migration and refugee backgrounds and people from the neighborhood. Under the motto "Learning by doing", full-time employees and volunteers show the participants how they can write a CV, for example, so that they can handle these tasks independently in the future. In this way, autonomy and independence grow on the one hand and intercultural skills on the other.

  • Project: Berliner Tafel

The Berlin Tafel project saves food from being destroyed and uses it to support people affected by poverty in social institutions. By redirecting surplus food, the project provides essential aid to those in need, making a significant impact on the community.

  • Project: Genial Digital

Understanding the importance of protecting personal data online is crucial. Identifying fake news, cyberbullying, and hate speech is essential for young users. Learning to use digital media healthily is a vital skill. The magazine Genial Digital, from the German Children's Fund, addresses these topics. Designed for children aged 8 to 11, it covers issues related to their first smartphone and navigating the Internet safely.

  • Project: Integration through Sport

Sport brings people together, transcending language, origin, and status. "Integration through Sport" promotes diversity and inclusion by encouraging active participation in organized sports for individuals with migration backgrounds.

  • Project: DaMigra

Established in 2014, DaMigra represents over 60 migrant women's organizations in Germany, advocating for their rights and equal participation in society. It focuses on empowerment, fighting racism, sexism, and inequality, and organizes events for migrant and refugee women across the country.
